Religions Field Trip Reflection

the similarities between the hindu temple, chinese temple and the mosque, all of them have a symbol that signifies their religion. For example the hindus have a swastika, muslims have the crescent and the star and chinese have dragons. Also all of them have some sort of sacred writing that they use. A lot of things are placed where they are for a reason like there are pillars in the mosque to hold up the belief and there is a big wooden block on the entrance on the chinese temple so evil spirits will not be able to crawl over it. Hindus and chinese both use incents. Not all of them have statues to worship like hindus and chinese both have statues that they can give offerings to and worship. Muslims pray directly to god. Chinese and hindus have many gods, and each god has a special reason, like theres a god for wealth, a god for prosperity, and a god for health. A similarity is also that all of these religions value and respect their gods. And all of them have a god that they worship.
There are also many differences between these religions. The muslims only have one god, and they have no statues or figures that represent the looks of the god, they pray directly to him. They also have different ways of praying to the gods, in a hindu temple the swami bathes the god in milk and gives his blessing to everyone.
I think the most interesting was the mosque because it has meaningful designs and it varies from all of the other religions, it is plain, simple and nice. I find it interesting how they pray directly to god and do not have any statues like the hindu and chinese temple. Their religion is interesting and the way things are placed interests me also.

Auschwitz

I think what happened in Auschwitz was horrible. But, why did the Germans decide to run the holocaust? did this type of extermination only happen in Auschwitz? How many people died at Auschwitz? Were there many survivors? Why didn't allies bomb Auschwitz?
